The Man Behind the Shop
About Pat
Hi, I'm Pat.
I've been playing guitar since I was a kid — and it didn't take long before I was more interested in what was inside the guitar than what came out of it. That curiosity turned into a lifelong passion for the craft of lutherie.
Over the years I've built guitars from scratch, repaired instruments that other shops turned away, and taught hundreds of students how to find their voice on the fretboard. Every guitar is different. Every player is different. That's what keeps this work interesting.
I started Pat's Guitar Works because I wanted a place where players — from beginners to pros — could get honest advice, quality work, and real respect for their instrument. No upselling, no cutting corners, no shortcuts.
Whether you're bringing in a vintage heirloom that needs some love, commissioning your dream guitar, or just starting your first lesson, you'll get my full attention and care every time.
